What We Do
At DJ’s Home Inspections, we know that the purchase of your home is a major investment. This is a purchase that should be made with confidence and security. Our goal is to provide you with valuable knowledge about the major components and systems within the property, and to identify and assess any defects or deficiencies to assist you in making an informed decision. We strive to make this process as informative and as personalized as possible.

- BUYER / PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION: A quality pre-purchase home inspection can reveal critical information about the property, as well as provide you with repair and maintenance recommendations for the future.
- SELLER / PRE-LISTING INSPECTION: A proactive approach before or during the listing process to ensure there are no required repairs and/or maintenance requirements which could delay the sale of your property.
- MAINTENANCE INSPECTION: Perfect for the longtime homeowner looking to protect your investment. This is a great inspection to help educate you on all the components of your home and provide you with any recommendations to maintain the quality of your property.
- NEW HOME WARRANTY INSPECTION: This is a crucial inspection for clients reaching the end of their new home warranty term. Identify any items which may have gone unnoticed, to ensure you receive the coverage you deserve, and to prevent avoidable costs in the future.
- MODULAR / MANUFACTURED HOME INSPECTION: DJ’s Home Inspections has an extensive professional background in modular housing; both in construction/design and sales. We understand the complexities of this type of home, and we are extremely knowledgeable in all the aspects involved. We will provide to you a quality inspection including, but not limited to crawl spaces, sewer slope, water line insulation, foundation elements/pilings, insulation, lot grading, water management, ventilation, and more.
- RENTAL PROPERTY / FORECLOSURES / MULTI UNIT PROPERTIES: An extensive inspection of these types of properties is crucial. As an investor, your top priority is ensuring the preservation of your property and avoiding any financial burdens in the future.
- CONDO INSPECTIONS: An important detail to remember when dealing with condo properties, is that your condo fees only cover the exterior components of the property. It is important to ensure all the inner components of the condo are operating as they should to avoid costly repairs.
What does DJ’s Home Inspections offer to our clients?
All clients will receive a detailed electronic inspection report that includes a comprehensive description of all systems within the home and identify any concerns for you. In addition, any recommended maintenance and/or repairs will be recommended and prioritized to suit your needs. See our website for an example report.
We use thermal imaging as a tool to identify any inadequacies in insulation, air leaks, water leaks, etc. Thermal imaging is a tool we can use to quickly target the source of these types of issues and assist you in making an informed decision regarding repair and preventative maintenance.
Communication is of the utmost priority to us. Our service to you does not end when the inspection is complete. We encourage our clients to stay in contact with us regarding any additional questions you may have – with no additional fees.
